2005 : pour convaincre les Français de l'intérêt de la recherche spatiale et de ses budgets, un concours est organisé : un jeu de grattage avec des millions de tickets à gratter, dont les deux gagnants obtiendront leur billet pour l'espace. Ils doivent partir pour la station orbitale française (laquelle n'existe que pour le film et pas dans la réalité), avec deux spationautes professionnels et un scientifique.

Naturellement, tout ne va pas se dérouler comme prévu. Un des candidats, qui a triché pour obtenir un billet gagnant, s'avère être, une fois dans l'espace, un fou dangereux en quête de vengeance, et cherchant a faire libérer son frère, un criminel emprisonné.

English Summary:

In the year 2005, a contest is organised to convince French people on the interest of space research and its budget. The contest consists of a scratch game with millions of scratchcards, where the two winners will receive tickets for space. The winners leave for the French orbital station with two professional astronauts and a scientist. However, once in space, the adventure takes an unexpected turn. One of the contestants, who cheated to obtain his ticket, is revealed to be a dangerous madman seeking for revenge.

Yanis és Stephan, a két szerencsés egy űrutazást nyer sorsjegyen. Az űrhajó legénysége rajtuk kívül Beaulieu ezredes,a magányos Soizic kapitány, aki az egyetlen nő a fedélzeten és a nyugdíjazás előtt álló küldöttségvezető, aki bejelentéseivel gyakran felbőszíti a többieket. A csapatnak meg kell bírkóznia egy furcsa földönkívülivel és túl kell élnie egy túszdrámát is. Természetesen a szerelem sem kerüli el őket.
