Overview

The Shadow is a 1994 American superhero film directed by Russell Mulcahy and produced by Universal Pictures. Starring Alec Baldwin in the titular role, the film is based on the pulp fiction character created by Walter B. Gibson in 1931.

Set in 1930s New York, the film follows Lamont Cranston (Baldwin), a former assassin who returns from Tibet with a new purpose: to fight crime as the mysterious vigilante known as The Shadow.
