About the Author

Andrew Jukes (1815–1901) was educated at Harrow and Trinity College, Cambridge. He was appointed deacon and licensed to the Curacy of St. John’s Church, Hull. Juke’s writing also includes The Names of God in Holy Scripture, available from Kregel Publications.
