Plot:
Prince Siegfried is celebrating his twenty first birthday and his mother tells him chat it is time for him to marry. He, However, prefers to go hunting. Alone, by a take he sees a swan who turns into human shape. She is an enchanted Princess who can only be saved by true love. He promises her his, but he is tricked by the wicked magician Von Rothbart who disguises his own daughter as the Swan maiden. Heartbroken, he returns to the lakeside and begs Odette's forgiveness; the power of Siegfried's love rescues Odette from Rothbart's power and eventually destroys the evil spell. The swan maidens are restored to human form and Odette and Siegfried are reunited in eternal happiness.
