南派鸡拳源于南少林寺,后隐传于民间。 此拳模仿鸡啄虫、食米、蹬腿、抖翎、伸腰、 独立、孵卵、上架、长鸣等动作衍变而来, 具有鲜明的南拳特色,故称「南派鸡拳」。
此拳由练功方法、套路演练和技击欣賞 三部分组成。练功方法主要通过刨河沙、创 沙袋、刨石球、刨木板等手段,来练习鸡爪 手消杀伤力。套路由27个动作组成,多用指、 擎、页、爪,象,取意,拳势激烈,两臂弹 抖发劲,少法大而快,灵活多变;身法吞吐 沉浮变化自如纹法巧妙,以柔克刚,以快 「制慢,左右躲闪,避实就虚。拳谱云:『金 腾出巢穴,两臂弹抖翎;踏步蹬高处,一声叫天吧」

Brief Introduction:

Southern Family Rooster Fist, is originated from Southern Shaolin Temple at the beginning,then expanded in society. The fist is the imitation of Rooster action, worm pecking, rice eating, feet stepping, plume shaking, standing on one foot, hatching,encaging and long screaming, for example, The fist is called Southern Family Rooster Fist, who is full of the characteristics of Southern Boxing.

Practice methods, exercises and skills appreciation consist of the fist. The way to learn and do practice are river sands digging, sand bag, beating, stone ball digging and plank hitting. By doing this you can improve your rooster claw attack force. 27 actions all together, whose behavior like a rooster, so called Rooster Fist. It is has the features lager pace and quickly, flexible and free to change. You can defeat the enemy only in soft force, fast to slow and evading efficiently.
