Overview

Rooster, performed by the Genera Bhital, is a lively and energetic ballet that pays homage to the body language, style, and spirit of the sixties and early seventies. The infectious rhythms of some of the best-known hits of the Rolling Stones and the exhilarating choreography will inspire the audience.

Silence is the End of Our Song, performed by the Aye Royat Danish Ballet, is a moving ballet danced to songs from Chile and dedicated to the Chilean people and their sufferings. It moves from light into darkness, from celebration to the need for courage in the face of political adversity or the threat of death. A gentle, personal and human statement.

Swansong, performed by the English National Ballet, is one of Bruce's most prominent works. Acclaimed as a modern classic, the ballet shows a prisoner being interrogated by two guards using a startling combination of contemporary dance, tap and music hall routines.
