The Concierto de Aranjuez is a solo concerto for guitar and orchestra by Joaquín Rodrigo (1901–1999). It was composed in Paris in the spring of 1939 and premiered in Barcelona on November 9, 1940. It is not only by far Rodrigo's most popular work, but also one of the most famous pieces of classical music of the 20th century.
