Hungarian Summary:
A szerző rendkívüli tárgyi tudással, ökumenikus szemlélettel és nagy dialektikus bölcsességgel tekinti át és elemzi a keresztény spiritualitás teljes történetét a célból, hogy a múltból ihletet merítve és elődeinktől tanulva úgy fordíthassuk le keresztény hitünket és missziónkat a posztmodern kor nyelvére, hogy közben hűek maradunk sajátos identitásunkhoz és hagyományunkhoz. Műve amolyan Summa Missiologica. A teológiákon a missziológiai oktatás alapműveként szolgálhat, és jogosan tart számot minden keresztény értelmiségi érdeklődésére is. Ajánlják: Hans Küng, Lesslie Newbigin, Kránitz Mihály, a Pázmány Péter Katolikus Egyetem rektorhelyettese és Anne-Marie Kool, a Protestáns Missziói Tanulmányi Intézet igazgatója.
English Summary:
David Bosch's Transforming Mission, now available in over a dozen languages, is widely recognized as an historic and magisterial contribution to the study of mission. Examining the entire sweep of Christian tradition, he shows how five paradigms have historically encapsulated the Christian understanding of mission and then outlines the characteristics of an emerging postmodern paradigm dialectically linking the transcendent and imminent dimensions of salvation. In this new anniversary edition, Darrel Guder and Martin Reppenhagen explore the impact of Bosch's work and the unfolding application of his seminal vision.
