Seven stories independent from each other. Meaningful and eloquent shorts which can be viewed separately, just like the videos on the internet. Fiction, in a documentary style. About grown-up children, and young adults, who fight the everyday battle, trying to survive and enjoy the moments. Misfits, looking for their way of success.

Titi and Detti Titi has her own problems with the grocery store where she works and with her sexual preferences. Detti her girlfriend. She is dreaming about becoming a fashion designer, prepares new designs every day. Her father is an aggressive alcoholic, she is afraid only of him.

Petike and Tesó carry bands. Petike is a gypsy, and often calls Tesó, whoo is a big baldheaded guy, a skinhead. In return Tesó calls him gippo, but strictly for fun, they are good friends. They dream about having a joint logistics venture. Petike has a serious cough.

Beus, Timi and Ferci Beus and Ferci are a couple, Timi is a friend of Beus. Their planned holiday just cannot start because of the usual broil of the couple. Timi forgets to brig her bed linen, Ferci goes up to her apartment to help.

Hungarian Summary:

A Papírrepülők rendhagyó módon úgy pörget végig bő fél tucat cselekményszálat, hogy azok nem találkoznak, csak szépen mennek egymás mellett. 

Akad itt alkotói válságban szenvedő író, breakes csávók a Jászairól, Tilos-DJ-k, hangszerszállító kisiparosok, meleg lányok, bódult tinik és huszonéves félrelépők, akiknek két közös vonásuk van: Budapesten élnek, és szeretnének viszonylag boldogok lenni. Nem nagyon erőlködnek, inkább sodródnak kicsit, meg persze hajtogatják a magukét, miként az a film címéből és mottójából is kitűnik.
 
A nem kissé mozgó kézikamera sivár tájként mutatja be Budapestet, mintha egy távoli bolygó lenne, ahol - mint tudjuk - "élni nem rossz és nem jó".
