This prayer book contains only the most necessary prayers and additional examinations of the Complete Prayer Book (Canon) for the daily prayer rule of the laity and monastics, including the study for Holy Communion. In order to restore the traditional spelling norms of the Church Slavonic language, the text was verified according to editions of the Moscow Synodal Printing House and the Kiev Pechersk Lavra Printing House of the mid-18th century. The corrections affected mainly the punctuation system. Restoring the tradition, lost in most modern publications, will allow the attentive reader not only to understand the internal rhythm of Church Slavonic texts, but also, perhaps, to rediscover the depth of meaning of seemingly familiar prayers.

Данный молитвослов содержит только самое необходимое из молитв и доследований Полного молитвослова (Канонника) для совершения ежедневного молитвенного правила мирян и монашествующих, включая исследование ко Святому Причащению. В целях восстановления традиционных орфографических норм церковнославянского языка текст выверен по изданиям Московской синодальной типографии и типографии Киево-Печерской Лавры середины XVIII века. Исправления коснулись преимущественно системы пунктуации. Восстановление традиции, утраченной в большинстве современных изданий, позволит внимательному читателю не только уяснить внутренний ритм церковнославянских текстов, но и, возможно, заново открыть для себя глубину смысла казалось бы знакомых молитвословий.
