English Summary:

After last robbery, Olsen Gang went to Majorca, but without any money, as Benny and Kjeld accidentally threw loot to the garbage bin. Egon breaks to the local restaurant to get back on track with the finances, unfortunately he's caught and whole gang returns to Denmark. After some time Egon is released; Kjeld and Benny are waiting for him but Egon abandons them: He has been hired by Stock Broker Holm Hansen to open a safe in Switzerland belonging to his deceased associate.

Egon demands 25% of the value equivalent of the contents of the safe as payment for his work. Holm Hansen agree, but has his Swiss henchman double-cross Egon once the safe is open and leave him at the mercy of the Swiss police. Egon escapes though, and makes it back to Denmark, where he reunites with Benny and Kjeld with a new plan to exact revenge and claim his payment. The safe held the Bedford Diamonds, an extremely valuable collection of jewelry, much sought-after as an inflation-proof investment for cash and wanted by police all over the world.

Egon Olsen, a banda esze megelégeli társai ügyefogyottságát és elhatározza, hogy a legközelebbi akciót egymaga hajtja végre. Egy jó hírben álló üzletember fogadja fel egy széf felnyitásához, melyben a Bedford nevű, több millió dollár értékű gyémántokat őrzik. Amikor Olsen végez a munkával, az új társ csúnyán rászedi: ráuszítja a rendőrséget és nem fizeti ki neki a járandóságát. Egon Olsen visszatér bandájához, és bosszút forral...

Danish Summary:

Nu er Egon, Benny og Kjeld sammen med deres familie ankommet sikkert til Spanien efter det sidste eventyr, men har dog ingen penge. Derfor forsøger Egon at bryde ind i et pengeskab tilhørende den velhavende, danske restauratør "Grisse-Hansen", men bliver taget på fersk gerning, straffet og kørt hjem til Danmark.

Efter sin løsladelse bliver Egon til Kjelds og Bennys forbavselse hentet i fængslet af en stor limousine af nogen han ikke kender. Ligesom han forestillede sig har Egon under sin straf haft kontakt med den seriøse forretningsmand J.M.R. Holm Hansen Jr., som har kendskab til Egons ekspertise i åbning af Franz Jäger-pengeskabe og hyrer ham til at åbne et pengeskab, som er efterladt i den kort tid forinden afdøde forretningspartner Hallandsens villa i Schweiz.
