God is not only the God of the mountaintop but of the valley as well. This volume is an attempt to outline some of the great men of Holy Scripture and their experiences on the mountain and in the valley. Associated with this are many great truths that have relevance for the present day.

Men of the Mountains & Valleys takes you mountain climbing with the great men of the Bible: Noah and Ararat, Abraham and Moriah, Moses and Sinai, Caleb and Hebron, David and Zion, Elijah and Carmel. Then, as if that scenery isn't breathtaking enough, ascend, in reverent awe, the slopes of Matthew's Gospel with the Lord Jesus: the Mountain of Temptation, of Teaching, of Intercession, and of Transfiguration. See the Saviour on the Mount of Olives, Mount Calvary, and on the Mount of Commission in Galilee. Then on to that "great and high mountain" of the Revelation with the venerable John to view the grand climax of history. At every step in the journey there are great truths relevant for today. T.Ernest Wilson has traveled the globe for God. Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, to godly Christian parents, his heart was stirred at an early age to expend his life for the Master in Africa. At the age of 21, he left home for Angola where, for nearly half a century, he and his wife, Elizabeth, labored for the Lord. The joys and hardships, the frustrations and fruit are told in Angola Beloved. Forced to leave Angola in the early 1960's, Mr. Wilson now lives in New Jersey, although he travels extensively in his Bible teaching ministry.
