Summary:
Album Description: Bat Out of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose is the ninth studio album by Meat Loaf, marking the third and final album in the Bat Out of Hell trilogy. Released in Ireland on October 20, 2006, it came 29 years after the original Bat Out of Hell (1977) and 13 years following Bat Out of Hell II: Back into Hell (1993). The UK release was on October 23, 2006, and the US release on October 31, 2006.
Produced by Desmond Child, this album is unique in the trilogy as it did not involve Jim Steinman in its production. The album was the subject of a legal dispute between Meat Loaf and Steinman over the use of the "Bat Out of Hell" trademark. Ultimately, the album includes seven songs written by Steinman for various projects.
