Up-and-coming young Latvian soprano, Marina Rebeka sings a great and varied selection of arias from favorite Mozart operas, including The Magic Flute, The Marriage of Figaro and Don Giovanni. She is joined by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Speranza Scappucci. Rebeka made her international debut in 2009 at the Salzburg Festival in a new production of Rossini's Moise et Pharaon, under the baton of Riccardo Muti. She has since performed regularly on the world's most prestigious concert stages and opera houses, including the Metropolitan Opera and Carnegie Hall in New York, ROH Covent Garden in London, Wiener Staatsoper in Vienna, Salzburg Festival, Teatro alla Scala and more. She will sing Verdi's La Traviata at the Lyric Opera of Chicago in November and December 2013.
