Magyar Kiralyi Posta was the Hungarian Royal Post which was established in 1867 and used the emblem of the Hungarian Royal Post between 1867 and 19451. Bela Kontuly was a Hungarian painter who designed some of the stamps for Magyar Kiralyi Posta. The stamp is part of the Liberation of Hungary Series and has a face value of 1 Pengo.
The Magyar Királyi Posta issued its own stamps in 1871 and was the first to experiment with the motorization of postal conveyances, beginning in 1897. In 1945, under the provisional government, the Magyar Királyi Posta became just Magyar Posta.
