Az angol nyelvű kiadvány bemutatja a Magyarország területéről származó buzogányokat, szekercéket és toporokat a 10. századtól egészen 1952-ig. A katalógusba kerülő fegyverek többsége a Magyar Nemzeti Múzeumban található, de magángyűjtemények kiemelkedő darabjai is helyet kaptak a könyvben, csakúgy mint több erdélyi fejedelem, Ferenc József és más ismert történelmi személyek díszes fegyverei. A 101 fegyver több, mint felét most ismerheti meg először a nagyközönség.
