Overview

This EMI Classics DVD captures celebrated pianist Leif Ove Andsnes performing masterpieces by Bach and Mozart alongside the Norwegian Chamber Orchestra, of which he is both the soloist and director. Recorded live in Oslo’s Posthallen in 2004, the program includes Bach's emotional Keyboard Concerto No.5 in F minor and three of Mozart’s most famous piano concertos. Andsnes’s refined artistry and deep understanding of the classical repertoire bring out the best in these iconic works.
