The Sucker (French: Le Corniaud, French pronunciation: ​[lə kɔʁˈnjo]) is a French, Italian and Spanish comedy film by Gérard Oury starring Louis de Funès and Bourvil. It was released in 1965 and was the most popular film at the French box office. As of 2019, it is still one of the 25 most watched films in France along with La Grande Vadrouille, another Oury-de Funès-Bourvil collaboration.

The film was entered into the 4th Moscow International Film Festival where the actor Bourvil won a Special Diploma.

French Summary:

Alors qu'elle n'a parcouru que quelques dizaines de mètres sur le chemin de ses vacances estivales vers l'Italie, la 2CV bleue d'Antoine Maréchal se disloque, percutée en plein Paris par la Rolls Royce de Léopold Saroyan, directeur d'une maison d'import-export, d'origine arménienne comme son nom l'indique. D'abord de mauvaise foi, celui-ci reconnaît ses torts et offre à Maréchal la possibilité de poursuivre, tous frais compris, son voyage au volant de la superbe Cadillac décapotable d'un de ses clients américains. Ce dernier devra ainsi conduire le véhicule (qui arrive de Beyrouth) de Naples à Bordeaux (où il est prévu qu'il soit embarqué pour les États-Unis).

Gengszterek rábeszélnek egy naiv, alacsony beosztású alkalmazottat, hogy Nápolyból Franciaországba vigyen egy Cadillacet. Az autót teletömték drágakővel, amit ily módon próbálnak a határon átcsempészni, amiből persze megbízottjuk semmit sem sejt. Ám a látszólag fajankó férfiúnak sikerül a tolvajokat lobbanékony főnökükkel együtt rászednie, ráadásul egyidejűleg egy rivális bandát is lekapcsolnia.
