La Linea ("The Line") is an Italian animated series created by cartoonist Osvaldo Cavandoli. Originally broadcast on the Italian channel RAI between 1971 and 1986, the series consists of 90 episodes, each ranging from 2:28 to 6:37 minutes in runtime. Known for its simplicity and charm, the series has aired in over 40 countries worldwide and is often used as an interstitial program due to the short length of its episodes. The background music for the series was composed by Franco Godi.

The cartoon features a character known as "Mr. Linea," who is outlined in a single continuous line, walking on an infinite line of which he is a part. Mr. Linea encounters various obstacles and frequently turns to the cartoonist for solutions, represented by a hand holding a white grease pencil. The character's frustration is a recurring theme, particularly when faced with the abrupt end of the line. Voiced by Carlo Bonomi, the character speaks in a mock version of Milanese, resembling gibberish with occasional Italian and English words, making it easily exportable without the need for dubbing. This voice style bears a resemblance to Pingu, the animated penguin also voiced by Bonomi.

Interestingly, the first 8 episodes were produced to promote Lagostina kitchenware, with the character initially identified as "Agostino Lagostina, a sharp little man with a truly expressive nose." However, after the 8th episode, the series severed its ties with Lagostina.

A Menő Manó (eredeti cím: La linea) egy olasz rajzfilmsorozat, amit az olasz Osvaldo Cavandoli készített, és eredetileg a RAI nevű csatornán sugározták Olaszországban 1971 és 1986 között. A sorozat 90 epizódból áll, amelyek hossza 2:28 és 6:37 perc között változik. A sorozat sikerét a rövid epizódoknak köszönhetően több mint 40 országban vetítették, és gyakran használták interstitial programként. A háttérzenét Franco Godi szerezte.

A mesében egy "Mr. Linea" nevű karakter látható, aki egy folyamatos vonallal körvonalazva jár egy végtelen vonalon. Mr. Linea különféle akadályokkal találkozik, és gyakran a rajzolóra fordul megoldásokért, akit egy fehér zsíros ceruzát tartó kéz képvisel.
