Overview

Kincsem is an epic Hungarian romantic adventure film set in the aftermath of the Hungarian Revolution of 1848. The story follows Blaskovich Ernő, a man who has lost everything after the failed revolution and now leads a life of aimlessness. However, his fortunes change when he meets Kincsem, a legendary racehorse with extraordinary abilities. Together, they achieve success on European racetracks, but Ernő's personal life becomes complicated when he falls deeply in love with Klara von Oettingen, the daughter of his family’s greatest rival, Baron von Oettingen. The film explores the complex dynamics of love, revenge, and fate as Ernő must decide between pursuing his romantic feelings or seeking vengeance against his ancient enemy.
