Arra szeretnénk biztatni benneteket, hogy tanuljatok farag- ni a magyar pásztoroktól és célszerű erdei emberektől hasz nálati eszközöket, disztárgyakat; karcoljatok csontot, sza- rut a magatok gyönyörűségére, mások ámulására.
De hát mindent az elején kell kezdenünk. Aki nem tud nyár- sat, ágasfát, palántázót, almaszedőt, nadrágtartót, kéregpo- harat, kopjafát, gólyalábat, kanalat faragni-készíteni, annak nem áll a kezére a tükrös finom mintáinak faragása sem. Aki nem tud a marhalábszárcsontból karperecnek való karikát csontfűrésszel levagdosni, az persze nem jut el odáig, hogy ezekbe acélárakkal finom virágmotívumokat karcoljon, s aztán különféle színekkel díszítse" - írja a szerző könyvéről, amihez találóbb ajánlást aligha tudnánk mondani.
