English Summary:

This book is a continuation of the previously published book Under the Cross. It was impossible to present the life of an evangelist in the difficult, yet blessed 1920s, in one volume. During his years of persecution, Cornelius Martens traveled to southern Russia and Ukraine, but also toured the Caucasus. He preached, founded churches, and experienced many of God's miracles.

The focus of his second book is the idea that God is more powerful and His divine grace is far greater than we would imagine. The author of The Wonders of God in Eastern Europe is not about human deeds, because what God does will transcend all human beings, endure all trials, and endure forever. Today's churches in Russia and the surrounding states prove that the Lord Himself builds His Church, and even the "gates of hell"; does not let them be defeated.
