Walt Henrichsen has written a book that is destined to provide practical help for many a modern day family. Is is  alive with an abundance of biblical Principles, modern day examples, and sound counsel. Its Standards are high, but its message is down-to-earth. Walt is not afraid surface some of today’s tough problems plaguing the family and face them head-on. Throughout the book there is a call to total dependence upon God which is demonstrated by a trust in the Holy Spirit, obedience to the Word of God, and the necessity of prayer—both with and for the family.
Too often parents who fully realize the responsibility to make disciples among all nations forget that the process begins at home with their own children. With God-given conviction, Walt hammers this point home with great effectiveness.
I heartily recommend this book to all parents who are concerned about their children’s character development, Commitment to Christ, and their ability to communicate their faith to the world around them.
