Hit Explosion was a multi-artist compilation released by K-Tel in 1983. The song selection was quite good. I loved Survivor's "Eye Of The Tiger," Steve Miller's "Abracadabra," The Go Go's "Vacation," Toni Basil's "Mickey," Joe Jackson's "Steppin' Out," and several of the other songs.

This went out of print very soon after it came out. It was never released on CD.
