Henry Drummond was not an author but a 19th-century Scottish evangelist, lecturer, and writer. He was born 17, 1851, in Stirling, Scotland, and died on March 11, 1897. Drummond is best known for his book "The Greatest Thing in the World," was a popular treatise on the nature of love based on 1 Corinthians 13.
Drummond studied at the University of Edinburgh and later became a lecturer in the Free Church of Scotland. He traveled extensively, giving lectures on topics such as science, philosophy, and religion.'s lectures were renowned for their ability to bridge the gap between faith and science, as he sought to reconcile scientific thinking with biblical principles.
In addition to "The Greatest Thing in the World," Drummond also wrote other notable works, including "Natural Law in the Spiritual World" and "Pax Vobiscum." His writings and lectures continue to inspire and influence readers and believers to this day.
