Francesco Farfa was born in the province of Siena. In the first half of the 80s he began to get passionate about mixing with vinyl, until 1985 where he started working in the disco "Y" in Certaldo (FI).
On the origin of the name of battle Farfa there are several opinions, the most accredited seems to be that one evening, during a dj set, some friends seeing him fly his hands on the plates at an impressive speed, said they seemed to see a butterfly on the console , and hence the nick name.
Later he worked for the Barcaccina discotheque in Livorno (86-89), Imperiale di Tirrenia (90) where many will remember after unforgettable, Tartana di Follonica (90-93) and Insomnia di Pisa (92-94). Simultaneously with the Italian movement begins the first European and then world-wide route, where above all in Uk it impresses with its innate ability to play with the mixer. 3 dishes for him are normal. The discs are almost not recognized as with the overlap of more vinyls can create real melodies. Seeing it mix is a real show, and manages to keep the most avid fans of mixing, with eyes glued on the console for evenings.
He contributes to the development of the progressive dance movement in Europe and introduces him to Italy among the first if not the first.
But his artistic path takes him around the world, United States, Brazil, Argentina, etc.
In his productions there are contaminations of practically all genres of music existing in the world.
Last production is his first album "HUMAN BRIDGE", anticipated by the single "ACIDAZZO".
