Sir Robert Anderson KCB (29 May 1841 – 15 November 1918) was the second Assistant Commissioner (Crime) of the London Metropolitan Police, from 1888 to 1901. He was also an intelligence officer, theologian and writer.
LIKE the Author's earlier work, The Gospel and its Ministry, these "Chapters on Redemption Truths" treat of the doctrines of the Gospel; and they are intended to help those who are seeking peace with God, or who desire to lead others into the way of life. The words "FOR US MEN," in the Nicene Creed so striking in their rugged terseness seem to supply an apt title for a book of the kind.
