Overview (English)
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children is a 2005 computer-animated science fantasy film directed by Tetsuya Nomura and co-written by Kazushige Nojima. Set two years after the events of the iconic 1997 video game Final Fantasy VII, this epic sequel continues the story of Cloud Strife and his companions as they face a new threat.
Following Sephiroth’s defeat and the destruction of Midgar by the Meteor spell, the survivors establish the city of Edge. Cloud Strife and Tifa Lockhart manage a courier service while caring for orphans Denzel and Marlene. However, Cloud isolates himself due to guilt over Aerith’s death and his infection with a mysterious disease called Geostigma.
A new danger arises in the form of Kadaj, Loz, and Yazoo—manifestations of Sephiroth’s spirit—who seek to resurrect him using the remains of Jenova. Cloud is drawn into a battle to stop their plans, which threaten humanity's survival. With the help of his old comrades, including Vincent Valentine, Barret Wallace, and others, Cloud must confront his past and fight for redemption.

『ファイナルファンタジーVII アドベントチルドレン』は、2005年に公開されたコンピュータアニメーションによるSFファンタジー映画であり、野村哲也が監督を務め、野島一成が脚本を担当しました。1997年の名作RPG『ファイナルファンタジーVII』の続編として、クラウド・ストライフとその仲間たちが新たな脅威に立ち向かう物語が描かれています。
セフィロスの敗北と「メテオ」によるミッドガル壊滅から2年後、生存者たちは新たな街「エッジ」を築きました。クラウド・ストライフとティファ・ロックハートは宅配サービスを運営しながら、孤児のデンゼルとマリンの世話をしています。しかし、クラウドはエアリスの死への罪悪感と、不治の病「星痕症候群（ジオスティグマ）」への感染に苦しみ、仲間から距離を置いています。
