English Summary:

Accross occupied France: Immediately after the landing in Normandy, the siege of the South of France began. The Allies will soon set up a fortified camp at the gates of Germany. In contemporary documentaries, we can trace the rapid advance of American soldiers from the south to Paris. 

This latest episode in the 'Liberation of Europe' series shows the Allied soldiers advancing from France and Belgium, east towards the city of Aachen and then forword into the German Roer Valley. The resulting front lines from this offensive became one of the broadest ever, and the fighting, some of the hardest yet for the tired Allied soldiers.

Keresztül a megszállt Franciaországon át: Közvetlenül a normandiai partraszállás után elkezdődött DélFranciaország ostroma. A Szövetségesek hamarosan már Németország kapujába létesítenek megerősített tábort. Korabeli dokumentumfilmeken követhetjük nyomon az amerikai katonák gyors előrehatolását délről Párizs felé.
