"Dubrovay László: Spring Symphony" is a contemporary concert band work composed in the spring of 2009. Dedicated to conductor Károly Neumayer and his orchestra, the Pécs Railway Workers' Concert Wind Ensemble, this symphony comprises three movements that merge classical traditions with innovative developments. In the first movement, Dubrovay extends the Scriabin-type sonata form by combining two fast sections. "Dubrovay László: Tavaszi szimfónia" egy kortárs fúvószenekari mű, amely 2009 tavaszán keletkezett. A mű ajánlása Neumayer Károly karmesternek és zenekarának, a Pécsi Vasutas Koncert Fúvószenekarnak szól. A három tételes kompozíció a klasszikus hagyományokat követi, de az első tétel a szkrjabini szonátaforma továbbfejlesztését valósítja meg két gyors tétel összeolvasztásával. A második tételben a lírai alap-hangvétel ellentéteként egy mélybe húzó, negatív erő is megjelenik, amely drámai küzdelemben alulmarad a modális hangsorokból származó, tömbszerű és korálszerűvé váló, közösségi ének előtt. A harmadik tétel vidám, táncos scherzo, komikus és humoros hangeffektusokkal.
