English Summary
Set in Northwest China in 48 BC, "Dragon Blade" tells the story of the Silk Road Protection Squad, a security force under the Han Dynasty tasked with preserving peace along the Silk Road. Captain Huo An (Jackie Chan) and his team prevent conflicts and foster unity, but when accused of corruption, they are sentenced to rebuild the ruined Wild Geese Gate fortress.
Their journey takes an unexpected turn when a Roman legion led by General Lucius (John Cusack) arrives on the brink of collapse. After an initial skirmish, the two sides agree to work together, sharing their engineering expertise to restore the fortress and bring harmony to the multi-ethnic region.
As alliances form, the peace is threatened by Tiberius (Adrien Brody), a corrupt Roman emperor leading a massive army to seize control of the Silk Road. Huo An, along with Lucius and his legion, must unite the 36 nations of the region in an epic battle to protect their homeland.
