Overview
"Der Bergdoktor" follows the life of Dr. Martin Gruber, a dedicated mountain doctor who faces dangerous rescue missions, search operations, and medical challenges while also juggling his complicated personal life. In this season, Martin's life takes unexpected turns as his partner Lena's ex-husband Tom falls ill under his care, causing tension between Martin and Lena. Meanwhile, Martin's daughter Lilli often poses challenges for him.
In addition to dealing with his personal life, Martin takes on a patient suffering from a rare, sexually transmitted virus. To find a treatment and cure, Martin must identify the virus carrier, but the patient is reluctant to reveal her past affair. As Martin struggles with his relationship with Lena, he considers accepting an offer from New York, leading to a consequential decision.
