This exceptional album showcases some of the finest concert arias by two of the greatest composers in Western classical music: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Ludwig van Beethoven. The album opens with four Mozart arias, including Misera, dove son! K. 369 (sung by Maria Stader), Alma grande e nobil core K. 578, Per questa bella mano K. 612, and Mentre ti lascio, o figlia K. 513.
