Product Details:
Soul songstress Joss Stone is an artist of style and substance with a unique and stunning voice. Colour Me Free is her fourth studio album, and rides on the back of over eight million album sales. Having performed on stage with such greats as James Brown, The Rolling Stones, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Patti Labelle, Donna Summer and Smokey Robinson, she has truly established herself as an international soul superstar.
Colour Me Free paves the way for the next chapter from Joss, revealing new dimensions of the singer while never losing the soul roots and grace of past albums--Soul Sessions (2003), Mind, Body and Soul (2004) and Introducing Joss Stone (2007).
Colour Me Free is an eclectic mix of pop, soul, r'n'b, funk, hip-hop and gospel sounds. Written and recorded at Mama Stones, Joss' mother's live music venue in Devon and produced alongside Jonathan Shorten and Conor Reeves, Colour Me Free is a unique album of finely crafted yet raw tracks. The lead single "Free Me" is a pop song with an infectious chorus, whilst "Incredible" possesses a raw funk sound. "Could Have Been You" captures urban influences and "You Got the Love" carries strong Gospel undertones.
"I kind of woke up one morning and wanted to make an album. It's very, very raw. It's a bunch of musicians, writers and myself and we're just jamming, basically."--Joss Stone

Review:
This is an Excellent Cd. Joss Stone is Amazing. Just got this today and loved it on the first listen. This Import Edition includes a bonus 13 minute song "Mr. Wanderman". The bonus track is not listed on the back of the Cd case...But it is on the Cd itself. I almost didn't open it as it only had 12 songs listed on the back, but it does include the song on the disc. This Import Version has the Original Cover Art on it. There was a big controversy about the Original Cover and changed it in the U.S..
