Overview

"Calabash Brothers – 葫芦兄弟" is a timeless animated classic that retells the legendary tale of the seven magical brothers with extraordinary powers. According to legend, within the fabled Calabash Mountain, two malevolent spirits—the Scorpion Demon and the Snake Demon—were imprisoned until a pangolin inadvertently broke through the mountain cave, setting the demons free. Guided by the pangolin, a poor old man obtained the magical Calabash Seed which sprouted into seven magnificent gourds. When the precious gourds ripened and fell, each transformed into a boy with unique abilities and distinct personalities. United by destiny, the seven calabash brothers wage a fierce battle against the demons, ultimately overcoming them by targeting their weaknesses and capturing the evil spirits back into the enchanted gourds.
