About the Translator
Adoniram Judson, Jr. (August 9, 1788 – April 12, 1850) was a significant American Congregationalist and later Baptist missionary who served in Burma for nearly forty years. He became the first Protestant missionary sent from North America to preach in Burma at the age of 25. Judson's mission work and collaboration with Luther Rice led to the formation of the first Baptist association in America to support missionaries.
Although he was not the first Protestant missionary to Burma, he is often remembered for his long-lasting impact, including the translation of the Bible into Burmese and the establishment of numerous Baptist churches in the region.

Wow!!! Great Product at Great Price! Size of Average-to-Small Study Bible in English
Although it's not leather, I'm very impressed!! Besides, if one plans to go to Myanmar (Burma) bugs could eat a leather one. 8 1/2" X 6" X almost 2" Nice and convenient size. Silver-edged. No English. The bookmark is disappointing, cheap, woven ribbon, like in my Swahili Bible. Durable, except the ribbon, which I need to tie off so it doesn't unravel. Very sturdy and handsome. Maps and, maybe, a few charts. Index. If I were buying again, would definitely buy it again.
