Overview

However, there is a catch: in order to claim the entire estate, Monty must complete a challenge with several specific conditions.

Monty can either take $1 million upfront or attempt to spend $30 million in 30 days to inherit the full fortune. If he chooses the latter, he cannot own any assets that are not already his by the end of the period, must get value from any hired services, can donate 5% to charity, and may lose 5% through gambling. He is also forbidden from informing anyone, including Spike, about the challenge. If he fails to spend the entire $30 million, he will inherit nothing. Monty ultimately decides to accept the challenge, and Angela Drake, a paralegal from the law firm, is assigned to assist him and monitor his spending.
