Jack uncovers that Susy Kaminski's jewelry is actually counterfeit, as she is not wearing the real pieces. Susy's partner, Tony Cilento (Michel Albertini), is the mastermind behind the crimes, which are aimed at committing insurance fraud. Cilento collaborates with local criminals to steal the jewelry, raising the question of whether Susy Kaminski is also involved.
