After Daniel Barenboims Olympic appearance comes a celebration of the West-Eastern Divan Orchestras 10th anniversary in a stunning Berlioz recording from the BBC Proms.

This recording comes from WEDOs 2009 Prom, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the West Eastern Divan Orchestra and marking a return to the roots of the orchestras conception in Weimar a place where Liszt championed the works of Berlioz.

The album contains Berliozs revolutionary Symphonie Fantastique, alongside Liszts colourful Les Preludes.

These fiery pieces of music, charged with emotion, are recorded live, and performed with a thrilling, youthful energy by one of the worlds leading youth orchestras.
