In its new series Sacred Choral Works, EMB presents a collection of religious choral pieces by contemporary and 20th-century Hungarian composers. The first six volumes are devoted to the works of the outstanding 20th-century composer Lajos Bárdos, specifically his Latin compositions from the Musica Sacra series. This first volume features works for equal voices, while the subsequent volumes focus on mixed choirs, organized by religious festivals: Volume 2 presents Christmas choruses, Volume 3 features works for the Easter season, Volume 4 covers the period following Easter, Volume 5 contains Marian songs, and Volume 6 includes pieces for other occasions.
