Review:
This was always my favourite ABBA album. I had to have the half speed master at 45rpm! This is great. The bass is far more up front than the original pressing and the treble is far less compressed sounding, exposing some buried nuances. The mids are a little dark, but it works very well.
One man, one woman is a very underrated gem and it just explodes into your living room on this new pressing. Wonderful.
A good job then, and a classic album that sounds as fresh today as it did way back then. The new re-master just adds the cherry to a very substantial cake!
You will need a good system of coarse to exploit the massive improvements here though.
