KÖSZÖNÖM, HOGY ELGÁZOLT

Balázs Sándor (Jávor Pál) beül a kocsijába, és vidékre indul. A folyó mellett haladva megkívánja a vizet, és megmártózik a hűvös habokban, miközben egy állásnélküli bárénekes (Páger Antal) "kölcsönveszi" a kocsiját. A kocsitolvaj tévedésből elgázolja Galambos Pannit (Turay Ida), az elvágyódó földbirtokoslányt, akinek szerencsére más baja nem lesz, mint beleszeret az idegenbe, akiről azt hiszi, hogy ő az a bizonyos Balázs Sándor, akinek az iratai Asztalos Péternél, a bárénekesnél voltak. A bonyodalmak akkor kezdődnek, amikor a szerelmes lány betoppan "vőlegényéhez", az igazi Balázshoz.
