Paul Hamilton Hume White (1910–1992) was an Australian missionary, evangelist, radio program host, and author. Known for his work in Africa, particularly in Tanganyika (now part of Tanzania), he founded the Mvumi Mission Hospital, which became a vital medical center for the local communities. White’s books, including the Jungle Doctor series, offer a vivid picture of the challenges he faced and the lives he touched during his years of service. He used his medical expertise, combined with his compassionate Christian faith, to address the spiritual and physical needs of those he served.
