About the Author (English)
Clive Staples Lewis (29 November 1898 – 22 November 1963) was a British writer, academic, and lay theologian. He is best known for his works of fiction, particularly The Chronicles of Narnia, The Screwtape Letters, and The Space Trilogy. Lewis held academic positions in English literature at both Oxford University and Cambridge University. His writings, including his non-fiction works on Christian apologetics like Mere Christianity and The Problem of Pain, have had a profound influence on literature and Christian thought.
