The Kenyah people are an indigenous, Austronesian-speaking people of Borneo, living in the remote regions in Sarawak, Malaysia and the remote regions of East Kalimantan, Indonesia. Almost all Kenyah people are Christian. Based on a recent census there is a total of 44,350 Kenyah people in East Kalimantan and 24,906 in Sarawak. The Kenyah languages are a group of half a dozen or so closely related languages spoken by the Kenyah peoples of Borneo. They are Kenyah proper (a dialect cluster), Sebob (incl. Madang), Bakung, Tutoh, and Wahau Kenyah.

Ethnologue says that the Punan–Nibong languages are related to Uma’ Lasan, Glottolog that they are outside the Kenyah languages.
