The eight-volume, two-part Animal Garden series is a reinterpretation of famous Bible stories from the perspective of animals. These animals are featured in the story scenes of Old Testament characters and the parables of Jesus in the New Testament. Seeing the experiences of these characters through the eyes of animals can help children read the Bible stories from a different perspective, which is more memorable and interesting. For example, how the duckling alerts the Egyptian Pharaoh's daughter by the river and finds the baby Moses in the straw basket; and how the piglet befriends the prodigal son working in the pigsty and comforts and encourages him to make up his mind to go home.
